AI-Driven Peptide Design

Sustainable solutions powered by advanced AI.

Mission Statement

PHYTOCYTE’s mission is using AI to build on 40 years of scientific research developing advanced Antimicrobial Peptides and next-generation biotechnology to replace the use of antibiotics in the global food, and animal health food chains.

We design development strategies that eradicate the need for in-feed antibiotics enhance animal health, and reduce antibiotic dependency across aquaculture, agriculture, and livestock production systems.

Our technology integrates optimization of structural parameters, sequence modification, and nano-delivery systems to deliver scalable, safe, and effective alternatives that protect ecosystems and reinforce global food security.

Within 10 years we anticipate developing antimicrobial peptides to replace the use of antibiotics for human use.

PhytoCyte Platform

PhytoCyte Pty Ltd

PhytoCyte is an emerging biosciences company developing a new generation of Antimicrobial Peptides (AMPs), designed to address the growing global demand for alternatives to traditional antibiotics. The company has already demonstrated successful applications in aquaculture and is now progressing into veterinary trials for poultry and livestock, while expanding into food preservation, disinfectants, agriculture, and future human health applications.

In parallel, PhytoCyte is building a broader biotechnology platform through strategic acquisitions and advanced cannabinoid technologies developed for laboratory production. Through a proposed transaction with Bakhu Holdings Company, PhytoCyte aims to establish a globally focused bioscience and technology group with planned expansion across Asia-Pacific and international capital markets.

The group is currently advancing multiple acquisition opportunities in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, while pursuing an uplisting strategy toward NASDAQ to support long-term growth, liquidity, and global investor access.
